With assistance of Nurse Melanie Hitchcok, Colonial hopes to begin to train the next generation of life savers using the CPR in School Training Kits. Each kit is portable, durable, and designed to train 10–20 students at once. They come with everything teachers would need to quickly and easily teach students. The CPR in Schools Training Kit empowers students to learn the core skills of CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) skills, and choking relief.

The CPR in School Training Kit was developed by the American Heart Association, the leader in CPR programs, which incorporates the latest in science and technology. Each reusable CPR in School Kit includes:

  • Inflatable manikins
  • Kneel mats with carry bags
  • Training DVDs
  • Airways
  • Face masks
  • Facilitator guide

The CPR skills that will be learned throughout the training are research-proven, hands-on ways for students to learn and retain the lifesaving skills of CPR. Through the hard work and dedication of the Colonial staff, students will have the opportunity to learn how to save a life by becoming trained in CPR through the CPR in School Training Kits.
