Intermediate Unit 1 is accepting applications for a Data Specialist. Salary starts at $44,815. This job exists to support and maintain the organization’s student information system to ensure data quality and submissions. This position assists districts as well as Intermediate Unit 1 staff and provides support for all internal student collection systems and ensures all the data required for state and federal purposes is collected, entered, verified, and accurately reported. This position also provides training and support to instructional staff and may report to local school districts and PDE. This position contributes to development of techniques and procedures relating to software and system functions and may assist in the testing and modification of computer systems and programs. This position will be involved with data related special projects within the IU as well as interact with PDE staff, as directed. This position may be involved as a representative for regional and statewide data activities.
