Intermediate Unit 1 is accepting applications for a full-time position in our Early Intervention program in Fayette County. The speech and language clinician is responsible to use his or her professional knowledge, evaluation, and intervention to minimize or eliminate speech and language deficits that interfere with an individual student’s ability to derive benefit from his or her educational program. This teacher provides services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. This person is qualified to determine the educational effects of speech and language disorders on educational performance and to plan and manage assessment and intervention of student instruction. This teacher is responsible for meeting the duties of teaching as outlined in Certification and Staffing Policy Guidelines (CSPG) 63, laws, board policy, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
