Intermediate Unit 1 is getting ready to hold its Third Annual Calcu-Solve Math Competition. The event represents students in grades 5–8 from various districts in Fayette, Greene, and Washington Counties.
This year’s competition is being sponsored by the PNC Foundation and will be hosted at Intermediate Unit 1.
The fifth and sixth grade students from 11 districts will be competing on . Seventh and eighth grade students representing 10 districts will be competing on . There will be approximately 200 students who will be competing in all.
Winners of the regional tournament will compete in the “Super Bowl” Calcu-Solve Math Competition in late , hosted at Duquesne University.
