Join us at the IU1 Fab Lab for the Adult Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Career Pathway course to improve your skills and get involved with hands-on learning in the IU1 Fab Lab. The Adult STEM Career Pathway course is free to adults in Southwestern Pennsylvania and neighboring regions.
This course was developed to give adults an introduction to the fields of STEM. Students will get classroom and hands-on training that will prepare them for programs and careers in the STEM field. Activities include working with circuit boards, soldering, and use of Arduino technologies. Class lessons will focus on math and science concepts required in the fields of STEM. Attendees without a diploma will also receive training towards GED testing.
Between –, sessions will meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 pm–6:00 pm at the IU1 Fab Lab. Space is limited. Please call 724-550-4555 today to see if you qualify for this free program.
