Intermediate Unit 1 is currently accepting applications for a Curriculum Specialist/Special Projects/State Initiatives.
This position exists to assist and support school district personnel in the design, development, and alignment of K-12 standards-based curricula and instructional methodologies. The overall goal is to incorporate state projects and initiatives into actionable and effective staff training sessions, grant management, and administrative components. The core parameters of Pennsylvania’s Comprehensive System of Personnel Development (CSPD) are planned and issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education in the form of various initiatives. The Curriculum Specialist/Special Projects /State Initiatives will provide technical assistance to districts in the form of the dissemination of information regarding state mandates.
